I havenʼt yet written about how the YouTube videos on this site were collected, so Iʼll briefly explain it here.
As partially shown in the diagram below, we first download data from YouTube in the form of HTML. Here, we are using a list of videos uploaded by Spányi. This data is then processed into a browser-displayable format (as shown in the diagram below) using a custom program written in Python. The videos are categorized by work using the work number as a clue, and then inserted into the web page for each work.
The work pages are designed to clearly indicate the automatically inserted sections, ensuring that even if the insertion program is used repeatedly, videos do not duplicate (older sections are automatically deleted).
